Zeus . . . . . . . .
Zeus was the king of all the greek gods. He had 2 brothers and 3 sisters. When his dad died, Poseidon, hades and zeus divided the world between them. Zeus took the heavens. Hades took the underworld and poseidon took the sea. Zeus had a jealous wife called Hera and had a bunch of kids and each of them had their own special powers. Zeus had the most power over everyone. He could even sound and look like anything. He had a horse called pegasus that carried his lightning bolts for him. Zeus had a big but quick temper, a big sense of humour and lots of girlfriends and he was only afraid of one thing, his wife, Hera.
Hera . . . . . .
Hera was the wife of Zeus. She was the queen of all the gods and she was the goddess of marriage. Hera was not very nice to her children and was very jealous of all the power that Zeus had.
Poseidon . . . . . .
Poseidon was known to be god of the seas. He had very blue eyes and green hair. If he wanted a new island he could just raise his hand and an island would appear. The greeks brought gifts to his temple to try and keep him happy. He had many wives.
Hades . . . . .
Hades and Zeus were brothers. Hades was in control of the underworld. Parts of the underworld like, the elysian fields, were very nice while other parts were full of evil and hatred. He had 3 nephews, they were Apollo, Hermes and Ares.He had an invisible helmet which he loved. He had a golden chariot and a 3 headed dog which he loved very much. He fell in love with a girl called Persephone.
Ares . . . . . . .
Ares was the son of Zeus and Hera. He carried 4 spirits; Pain, Panic, Famon and oblivion. He was very gruesome and loved to see people die and blood. Most of the other gods stayed away from him because he would always cause trouble.
Hermes . . . . . .
Hermes was the youngest son of Zeus. Hermes was Zeus' favourite son. Since he is a messenger he got to know about everything that was going on in the mythical world. He was very loyal and honest and all of the other gods trusted him the most.

Athena was born from zeus' brain and had no mother. Athena was the godess of wisdom and war.

Hestia is the goddess of hearth and home. She had 2 sisters, Hera and Demeter, whom she loved very much. She was very honourned by the women of ancient greece. Hestia was the most famous goddess.
Demeter . . . . .
Demeter was in-charge of all the harvest. Her job was that important that if she cried all the crops would die.
Aphrodite . . . . . . .
Aphrodite was the exception in the royal greek God Family Tree. Aphrodite is the goddess of love and beauty. Aphrodite was the fairest in the land. Aphrodite caused the Trojan War.
Hephaestus . . . . . . . . .
He was the only olympian who limped. He was the lovely son of Hera and Zeus. Myth says that Zeus flung him of Mount Olympus when he was a baby. Hephaestus was the God of Fire and Forge. He married Aphrodite. He made the first clay person, Pandora.
Hercules . . . . . .
He was half man and half god. His father was Zeus. Hera was very jealous of Hercules. She tried killing him but Zeus protected him. Zeus sent him to live with a human family so that Hera would not kill him.
Eros . . . . . .
Eros was Aphrodite's son and was the goddess of love and beauty. When he shot an arrow at a victim they immediately feel in love with the next person they saw.
Orpheus . . . . . . .
Orpheus was the beloved son of Apollo. He was a gifted musician and he played the lyre. He loved his wife, Eurydice.
Pandora . . . . . . .
Pandora was a daughter of Zeus. She was the first woman to be made out of clay. Hephaestus made her. She opened a box that her dad gave her and all of the evil things you can think of came out of it. The world now held Envy, Crime, Hate and disease.
Pegasus . . . . . . . . .
Pegasus was the son of Poseidon. People tried to kidnap him but the greek gods made that a failure for most. Some succeeded and the rest failed. Pegasus was a thundering horse that Zeus rode in the stars.
